| A new piece entitled "John Fish" will appear on a compilation issued by Kenedik Records of Seattle, Wa, USA. All the tracks for this release were constructed from tapes left in answering machines being sold in thrift stores. This should prove to be an interesting collection. |
| My musique concrete composition "Washer and Teakettle" is included in the experiemental video, "Vagues/Surfaces" directed by Francois Baret and is scheduled to run at the film-festival OHNE KOHLE in Vienna this summer. |

As my various projects collectively approach the 3000 download mark, the editors of music.download.com (formally mp3.com) have given me very flattering reviews as follow...
"Stateside sound-scientist King Quasar is anything but usual. His electronic compositions challenge the status quo of industry stagnation with a boundless selection of ear-challenging constructions that Mille Plateau and P-Tapes enthusiasts will gravitate to instantly. Digitally granulated, deconstructed, and resynthesized, his work has the potential to evoke a range of responses--all of them powerful." "Defying spelling of the English language, Qlonzo! is equally rebellious with their recording techniques. The four-track tapes they let roll during rehearsal make you want to get in that noisy room and feel the feedback-driven guitar attacks shake your very bones." |
